Kwan Henmi, Architects, in San Francisco designed this home in such a way that every window has a view! But, as you will see in the pictures below, any given view takes on many different personalities depending on the weather and the time of year. The net result is that just when you think you've seen it all, the view changes. You are constantly being surprised by the ever evolving canvas of natural beauty! This shot is the veranda in front of the master bedroom suite in early spring.
Above is one of your many views to the west looking over Sanborn Canyon (also referred to as Congress Springs Canyon) - Cinnabar's beautiful mountain top winery with snow covered Santa Cruz Mountains above!
More views of Cinnabar above, the first with ground fog and rainbows, the second a view from above your own Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard, the third in the words of Cinnabar's operations manager, "this had to be the day when God looked down upon Cinnabar," and the fourth with the valley fog separating leaving the winery perched above the clouds!
When the fog rolls in, your home will be basking in the sun, as you look down upon a beautiful, white blanket that completely shrouds the valley below. All that surrounds the blanket of white are various mountain peaks and ridges. More importantly, how thankful you will be that you are breathing clean, mountain air above the layer of fog below!
The house features landscape lighting front and back which, creates wonderfully romantic surroundings in the outdoors at night!
Looking southwest across a portion of our vineyard you can see some of the 221 cabernet sauvignon vines which are now in their sixth leaf. Mt. Eden Winery makes our wine. This year's harvest of 750 pounds of grapes was enough to fill an entire 70 gallon barrell so the wine will be uniquely ours. Mt. Eden keeps two thirds of the production from our grapes and we get one third, which this year will be a take home of 9-10 cases of wine. Our vineyard can be quadrupled in size with existing land, a third of which has already been cleared and the other two thirds is thinly wooded with no underbrush.
In your home brilliant colors abound especially in the springtime! Your home is fully landscaped front, sides, and back with wonderful landscape accessories and landscape lighting at night!

Kandis' hobby is cooking, so she designed this kitchen for the serious chef!
Above is our "game/wine tasting" room and below is our "wine cellar," both of which are accessible from the recreation room/home theater on the ground floor of the house or via an optional spiral staircase to the kitchen/family room above. The wine cellar is completely below grade and self maintains a temperature in the low 70's year round. If cooler temperatures are desired, that can be easily implemented via the home's centralized computer using a simple extension of an existing air duct in the recreation room.
This is the kitchen patio, lawn, reflecting pond and waterfall, plus pottinghsed and BBQ, which are behind the camera.
This is a photo taken from the house with a 14x zoom lens. You can see the San Franciso skyline on the left and the mountains to the north. On this day with the human eye you could see every building!
The valley lights, shown here at dusk, are always enchanting!
